Warwick shivers and covers his arms with his hands.
"I'm go-going to ta-tag the Ga-gate real qu-quick," Warwick stutters.
"Okay, I'll wait here."
Warwick walks closer to the Mana Tunnel, slowing down more and more as he succumbs to the cold.
"I-i-i'm not go-going to ma-make it... Su-summon Demo-moko!"
Demoko appears, still waking up and now sitting in the snow.
Demoko starts growling at Avelin, before realizing she's not there and Warwick is freezing.
Altam prepares for a potential conflict from his location, as Demoko lifts Warwick up.
"Th-thanks, Demoko. I need to t-tag the Gate, th-then h-head inside."
Demoko nods, and starts carrying Warwick forward before stating, "You know it is a Mana Tunnel, not a Moon Gate."
"Whatever,"
They tag the Mana Tunnel and start heading back as Altam looks more terrified the closer they get to him.
"Altam, you should chill out," Warwick jests in passing, having warmed up somewhat.
"Are you sure that thing is safe?" Altam asks nervously.
"Not after being called 'that thing'!" Demoko snaps back.
"I appreciate that, but don't make yourself seem more threatening," Warwick commends.
"Sorry, I am safe,"
Altam cautiously follows them, a bit more concerned now.
As they approach the entrance to the Hillwen mines, the two armored giants guarding the entrance cross their lances to block the path.
"Are you working for Cichol?" One of the guards asked.
"No, I'm just here with my pet and my patron to learn engineering."
"Is your pet under control?"
"Fully."
The two guards look at each other and nod, then lift their lances for them to walk in.
The trio walk in and see several engineers and researchers, all giants.
There's a minecart rail running through the center of the room towards an elevator managed by a guard and two giants in black trenchcoats.
Warwick approaches one of the engineers.
A shirtless, older-looking, yet extremely muscular giant holding a huge drill with a long shaft that appears more like a lance.
"Hector, the finest engineer of all time. It's a pleasure to meet you," Warwick cheerfully introduces, whilst holding out his hand for a shake.
"Ah, my fame precedes me! Great to meet you too, little one!" Hector states, giving Warwick a painfully firm handshake.
Warwick gathers his footing after the handshake ends.
"I'm wanting to get into engineering, and was hoping to buy some supplies off you and enter the mines."
"I have the money, just let me know how much you need for his goods," Altam informs.
"Ah, so what is it you're looking for?"
"I need a Zeder II, a Mining Drill, two sets of Training Mana Bullets, and an Engineering Bag."
"That will be 25,650 gold."
Altam gulps, then pays Hector in full.
Hector gives the equipment to Warwick, who manages to fit everything into the fanny pack sized bag.
"While I'm here, could you use help with anything?" Warwick asks.
"Yes, though I can only allow each person to help once a month. I'm sure it will help with your training," Hector informs.
"Definitely!" Warwick exclaims.
"Great good luck! If you manage to make 5, I'll exchange them for a reward." Hector states, handing Warwick 50 Hilwen Ore Fragments.
Warwick gains a huge grin as he realizes these are regular Hilwen Ore Fragments.
Using the workbench, Warwick pounds the glowing fragments together on the anvil.
Warwick manages to succeed every time and creates 10 Hillwen.
He puts 5 of them in his Engineering Bag and hands the other five to Hector.
"Great job," Hector states, as he hands him 3,000 gold, 1 Emerald Core, and an Adventurer's Seal.
Warwick's eyes grow wide at the amount of gold.
"Could my wolfman friend give it a try?" Warwick asks.
"Sure. What's your name boy?" Hector asks Demoko.
"My name is Demoko. I was not aware you would give me this chance."
"Of course, here." Hector hands Demoko 10 Hillwen Ore.
Demoko succeeds 8 times, and has 4 ore left over.
He hands hector the 5, and gives the reward to Warwick.
"Altam, here," Warwick prompts, handing Altam the 6,000 gold.
"You don't need to do that."
"It's the least I can do. You made this possible. Also, worst-case scenario, I borrow it from you again."
Altam sighs then accepts the gold.
"Altam, can you take us back to Tir Chonaill?"
Altam nods.
Warwick yells "Return!" as Altam puts one hand on his shoulder, and uses a Waxen Wing to teleport them where they first met Avelin.
"Thanks, for everything. I should be able to make it to Emain Macha if I need to meet with you again."
Altam nods and teleports away with a Waxen Wing.
Warwick heads to the bank and sees it's closed for the night.
"Figures. I should probably get some sleep."
Warwick heads back behind the Grocery Store, summons Demoko, and the two rest for the night.

Episode 32: Knightly Debate
While waiting, Warwick pulls out his knife.
Upon inspection, he notices the blade is cracked throughout.
"Of course, I should have expected the durability to be nill."
He waits a bit longer, as Avelin teleports back in.
"Hey! So what-" Warwick starts to ask, as Avelin grabs him by the collar and presses him against the wall.
"Tell me what you know! RIGHT NOW!"
"Did something go wrong?"
"That's not an answer!" She yells, pushing him against the wall with more and more force.
"I- can- n't- breathe!"
"Avelin!" Talvish yells, seeming to have appeared with Altam whilst neither was looking.
Avelin drops Warwick, who starts gasping for breath while holding his throat.
"He's been right. Shouldn't we trust him?" Altam asks.
"He knows more then he should. It's like he's lived through everything, and is trying to figure out when he showed up. Yet, he doesn't seem prepared for what he did."
"I'm not. I'm years behind where I should be. And I'm hundreds of thousands of gold short of what I need to pull this off. I need help to save this world I love. Will you help?"
"Will you tell us what's going on?" Avelin asks.
"I have read a fantasy story about a wizard that finds a spell to go back in time and destroyed the future. Is it something like that? Also, what do you need right now?" Altam inquires.
"He said 27 thousand gold and transportation to the Hillwen mines. He's also not a member of the Alban Knights, in case you need reminding," Talvish informs.
"I have that. I can get him there," Altam suggests.
Warwick smiles at him, "Thank you Altam, I knew I could count on you."
"This is insane! How do you even have that much?" Avelin asks, obviously annoyed by this situation.
"I've been saving up for a long time, though I don't have much more than that."
Warwick avoids eye contact upon hearing that.
"You feel bad about taking advantage of his generosity?" Talvish asks.
Altam starts to abject to that, as Talvish holds up his hand.
"I do, though I'm also considering the fact that he is among the ones that die if I fail."
Altam gumps at hearing that.
"So, how do you plan to protect yourself? It's dangerous out there, and you can't defend yourself," Avelin inquires.
"Demoko, my pet wolfman. He's strong, and he's starting to grasp magic."
Altam and Talvish just stare at him, mouths agape.
"I can summon him, he's really nice!" Warwick sheepishly states, trying to ease the conversation forward.
Talvish looks at Avelin, who's glaring at Warwick, then states, "So, I thought I was good at taking jokes, but this one isn't sitting well."
"It's not a joke. He's likely the one to make the difference between me saving people, and me just coming back thanks to the Soul Stream, surrounded by the bodies of my comrades. He's also part of the deal."
"What deal!" Avelin yells.
"The whole convince me to save the world thing. We've been talking about it all night."
"I would choose my words wisely if I was you," Talvish hints.
"Yeah, I'm exhausted of having to always watch what I say. I've already proven myself, and I'm getting fed up with a false leverage you're trying to push on me. If I die, I still live. If you all die, y'all stay dead. Sure, I won't even try to hurt you, but if you don't help me, I'm the only one that survives. Those are the facts. Now, we've already worked out a plan, and you have the means to help me. The hopes of the world rest in this decision from you, for I will fail to save everyone on my own if I try my best. What is your decision?" Warwick lays down the law, dropping all pretense of playing nice.
Everyone just stares at him in shock.
Altam gulps before hesitantly speaking, "I'll still help. I don't think we have a lot of options."
"Wherever you're getting your information, someone saved everyone. How do you know it's you?" Talvish asks, trying to move the conversation forward.
"Because the person reading the information IS the one who has to save everyone. The d- My sources would have me be far stronger when I got to this point. I'm honestly not sure I can pull this off."
"If Avelin agrees, Pihne already believes you to be worthy, and I agree, that'll be enough for you to become an Alban Knight. It's up to you Avelin," Talvish informs.
"I don't trust him."
"He's proven he's telling the truth. I don't trust him either, but we can't let our judgments bring the world's destruction." Talvish conveys.
"I'm right here!" Warwick yells.
"You'll get used to the higher-ups talking about you while you're around," Altam comforts.
"Fine. But if he slips up, I'll serve him his punishment myself," Avelin agrees, but in such a way to send shivers down everyone's spine.
"Then let's get on this. I'm ready when you are Altam,"
"You have the clear to go," Avelin informs.
Altam nods his head, grabs Warwick's shoulder, pulls out a Waxen Wing, and they teleport.
They arrive in a field of snow.
A stone structure to the south, and a cave with two giant guards in front to the north.
Wild dingos can be seen on the west, but they seem to be a safe distance away.
