Episode One: Nighttime Detour, a meet with a Djinn

11 at night, Warwick attempts to sneak out of the seasonal school apartment.

"Warwick, just for once, can you not break curfew?" Peter, his roommate asks?

"Absolutely... Not! There's too much to learn, too much to explore, and that cave where people keep disappearing," Warwick replies, not halting from climbing out the window.

He jumps down from the window, straightens out his cloak, and begins wandering off.

He pulls out his dimmed phone, turns on Google Maps, and starts walking to the location he saved during the day, all the while staying out of sight.

He's able to make it out of the city in only a couple hour's time.

He slinks towards the cave, sliding his way past the security tape.

The sand here is so fine, it's like dust. He pulls up his muffler, to make breathing easier.

Nearing the back of the inclined tunnel, his phone light reflects off of something golden.

"Jackpot!" He exclaims, sliding down towards it.

"Where are you going to take me?" He states, picking it up.

He rubs the sand off of it, revealing it's a lamp.

"A lamp? Where's the Djinn?"

"Oh, my. I've never met someone so... perceptive." A beautifully seductive voice responds from behind him.

He turns to see a beautiful woman with blood red skin, soul black eyes, sharp teeth and copper red hair.

"A... Female Djinn?.." Warwick asks.

"Perceptive again, my wise master." She flatters.

Warwick takes a moment to mentally go through everything he knows about Djinn, while not only struggling to resist the well-deserved ego stroking but make it look like he's in shock that this is actually happening.

"So, about my wishes?"

"I'm so sorry master. Unfortunately, I don't grant wishes, only worlds."

"What do you mean by worlds?"

"I grant the ability to go to any three worlds you could wish to go to. There are some rules though. Would you like me to explain master? Or, would you rather just let me know what worlds you would like to go to?"

Warwick gives a smug smile. "Tell me the rules, oh lovely servant."

She struggles, yet succeeds, to hide a grimace. "The rules are simple, master. You can pick any three worlds you would like to go to, though once you decide, you can't change them or the order they come in. You can go back and forth between any of the four worlds you've been to freely but have to visit each new world in the proper order to go to and from that world. You will not be anyone from that world but will enter that world as yourself. You can take anything you can hold back and forth between worlds, and anything you learn or abilities you gain will stay with you."

"That sounds simple enough."

"Simple master?" She says, hiding concern.

"Yes, my lovely servant. Do I have to answer now?"

"No, but if someone else gets the lamp, it will be too late."

"That's fine. Please return to the lamp."

She disappears as he clips the lamp to his belt with a spring snap link clasp.

Keeping the lamp concealed under his cloak, Warwick makes his way back to town.
